Tyler grew up in Texas, and played college football for his home state at the Example University. As a freshman, he rushed for 257 yards and four touchdowns before fracturing his ankle and missing the rest of the season. The following year, he played in all 13 games and rushed for 933 yards from 166 carries, scoring nine touchdowns. He was quickly cementing himself as one of the finest prospects in the country. In his final season, he rushed for 1,017 yards and 10 touchdowns, winning the National Championship and picking up the Graham-George Offensive Player of the Year award in the process.
Williams was selected by the Example NFL team in the second round, 35th overall, of the 2018 NFL Draft. Sparks signed his four-year rookie contract with Example NFL team on July 23, 2018. In his first season he played in 15 games, rushing for 1,450 yards from 228 carries, scoring 16 touchdowns. He won the PFWA All-Rookie Team and played in the 2018 Pro-Bowl.
Aside from football, Tyler takes great pride in his involvement with local charities in the community. He hopes to use his status to give something back, building a continuing legacy to inspire and improve the lives of children and young people.
